This means you can just pour your coffee and it will ready to drink, you don't have to wait for it to cool, and none of this putting a wee droppy cold in it, you don't need to.

So, you get your coffee at the perfect temperature every time, you get it quicker, and you are not eating up the water to boiling then cooling it down, which was a complete waste of time and energy, wasn't it?

The option to maintain a steady temperature of 80 degrees is great too, you can switch the kettle on, then do whatever you have to do and when you come back, the water will be ready for you.

This would also be handy if you had people arriving for coffee, or teabreak, and they showed up at different times but need their coffee or tea straight away. If you need to boil it up, for tea, or cup soup, for example, you just have to switch to boil mode and off you go.
